This is a super beginner friendly DIY that can be made for pets of all sizes!

SUPPLIES

TOOLS

  • Saw (or have it cut at the hardware store)
  • Sander
  • Power drill

STEPS

  1. Measure your dog (I measured to about Cheddar’s armpits) and order hairpin legs
  2. Buy supplies
  3. Sand
  4. Stain/seal (I use this Valspar semi transparent stain and sealer all the time)
  5. Apply a top coat (especially important if your stain isn’t also a sealer since dogs are sloppy drinkers!)
  6. Drill “pilot holes” by picking a drill bit slightly smaller than your screw and drilling a hole. Put a piece of tape on the drill bet so you know when to stop and don’t go through to the other side!
  7. Screw in the legs using the included screws, or shorter screws if the included screws are longer than your board is thick
  8. Present it to your dog and give them a treat!

If you want to buy this exact table, you can bid on it in the Love-A-Bull virtual silent auction!
